We love babies at Tuscany Cottage and Misty's daughter brought her beautiful new baby to visit this morning! Seeing and getting to hold baby Avani was a little taste of heaven.
the kindness of flowers

Karen and her nonprofit "Lilies of the Valley" make the occasional delivery to our home: individual bouquets for each resident! Her flowers are repurposed from weddings etc around the valley. And they are always so beautiful!
PET THERAPY

Lola comes for the occasional visit, for some pats and love...and treats! We currently have a little lap dog named Daisy who lives permanently here. Pets, whether resident or visiting, bring such joy to our residents...and staff!
Bacon

One of our resident's joys right now while her ability to move is limited, is BACON! So, this morning she had bacon. And our staff makes sure she has it often! Food is comfort and enjoyment and we want our residents to feel both nourished and spoiled!
Dreaming of spring

With all of the snow and cold weather we've had recently, we are dreaming of spring! This view from one of our resident's rooms last summer, with the bird feeder and hydrangea bush, provides a glimpse of beauty through the changing seasons. It's important to us that our residents here at Tuscany Cottage are surrounded by beauty and life...birds, growth of plants, flowers, kids running by.
